Board and Train Specialist
General Information and Requirements
I've owned 16 dogs and had many more live out their lives with me. I have over 25 years of experience in teaching foundation skills, housetraining, and modoficying dog behavior

Dogs are in my house with me and my dogs. They are treated like my own and have access to a large play yard.

I only take 1 dog at a time. Your dog will receive a lot of one-on-one attention.

Only positive reinforcement training techniques are used.

Dogs must be dog friendly

Dogs must be up to date on rabies and distemper vaccination, have a negative heartworm test and be on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. Proof of licensing also required.

Crate training prior to arrival is highly encouraged.

Owners must bring dog food.

Looking for a quieter, small place for boarding? I recommend Boone's K9 Clubhouse. Their facility is divided into smaller rooms which offers a quieter environement. Dogs receive more individual attention, outside time, and they flexible pick-up times. Contact them for more information.

Foundation Skills
Board and Train

Do you have a new dog and want to get that dog started off on the right foot? Does your dog need help in a few areas? Are you looking for a little extra training while your dog boards? We work on foundation skills such as crate training, sit, down, recall, walking on leash, house manners, etc. I have fostered hundred of dogs and trained hundred more and specialize in getting dogs acclimated to house life.
Skills: Crate training (a must), house training, dog's name, Sit (verbal and hand signal), Down (verbal and hand signal), Wait (verbal and hand signal), Recall (beginning stages) Loose-Leash Walking (beginning stage "Follow Me"), Leave it.
Once foundation skills are in place, we'll start working again distractions and in real-life situations.

Two (2) weeks of Board and Train are recommended.

Day Training
Are you looking for a little extra training while you are gone for the day? Day Training combines dog sitting AND a training. We work on the basics cues/skills, polite house manners, housetraining, whatever your dog needs a little help on.
Must be prior or active client.
Daily Fee: $125.00

Behavior Modification
Board and Train
Are you having issues with your dog being afraid of everything new? Approaching strangers? Do you have significant problems with house manners? I've fostered hundreds of dogs, and worked with hundreds more, and have a lot of experience with dogs who need more than basic training and manners. It takes a lot of work, time, patience and skill to help these dogs.

boarding plus a minimum of two (2) hours of training per day.

One (1) private lesson

Pick-up/Drop-off service available.

Weekly Fee: $1,695.00

Not all dogs qualify for this program. Owners must be actively involved in training their dog with me via private lessons, behavior consultation, etc. Behaviors that will be worked on will be discussed at length with owner prior to Board and Train.
