I love working with humans and their dogs. In fact, I'm passionate about it! It's important to make a connection with both ends of the leash. I only use force-free, positive reinforcement training techniques which are scientifcally proven to be the best way for dogs (and humans) to learn and retain skills and knowledge. I offer one-on-one, private, in-your-home (or virtual) lessons so we can focus on you and your dog.

Basic Lesson
Private Lessons
I offer one-on-one, private, in-your-home lessons (or virtual via Zoom or Teams). I'm passionate about working with dogs and their humans. I use force-free, positive reinforcement training techniques which are scientifically proven to be the best way for dogs (and humans) to learn and retain skills and knowledge.

Foundation Skills Packages
Foundation Skills
Foundation skills is for puppies and adult dogs and is designed to teach solid foundations skills such as sit, down, pay attention, follow-me, walking on leash, etc.
In addition, we'll discuss house training, crate training, feeding, socialization and more!

Manners and Polite Behaviors
In these lessons we'll focus on eliminated undesired behaviors such as barking, jumping, chewing, etc. You'll learn redirection techniques and how to manage your dog's environment.

Focus Lesson Packages
Intense and Frantic Dogs
Be Proactive, Not Reactive
Does your dog overreact to meeting new people and dogs? Is it a challenge to walk your dog? Is your dog on edge all the time? We'll work on giving your dog confidence and teach them to make good choices. Owners will learn re-direction techniques and gain confidence too.

Shy Dogs/Cautious Canines
Is your dog afraid of new situations and people? Does it take a long time for your dog to acclimate to something new? Is your dog scared of noises? strangers? It's so important help a shy dog overcome its fears and see that the world is not scary, especially when mom or dad are there.

Zen Dog
Chill and Relax
If your dog has problems calming down, staying focused, or gets overly aroused, these classes can help your dog chill and relax.
Sometimes more exercise is not the answer when your dog is already over-stimulated. Clients learn focus exercises and calming, relaxation techniques.

Next Level Lessons
How great would it be if all dogs became Canine Good Citizens! The American Kennel Club (AKC) developed the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program to help owners and their dogs be the best they can be.

Care to Cooperate
This program teaches owners and their dogs how to work together to achieve a specific goal, such as trimming nails, administering medication/fluids, going to the vet, etc. It's an in-depth learning process of working *with* your dog.

Therapy Dog Prep
There is nothing more rewarding than becoming a therapy team with your dog. Therapy teams offer many benefits from visits, to stress relief, to the fantastic R.E.A.D. program.
